This year I was invited back to charming Grant’s Pass, Oregon to participate in the 6th annual Art Along the Rogue Street Painting Festival. I had last participated in 2006 and was looking forward to seeing my Oregonian friends for another weekend of great art and great music. This festival is spearheaded by Jeff Jones, a musician and art lover, along with the community of Grant’s Pass; they always do a great job at making us ‘out of towners’ feel welcome.
This year the festival had a theme - classical reproductions. Renaissance, Baroque, Pre-Raphaelite, Neo-Classical, Impressionism - anything by a great master. Jeff asked me if I could participate in (more…)

While I have never considered street painting as graffiti (as it is not permanent nor does it deface property), I suppose that depends on one’s viewpoint. I was recently listed as one of the ‘Top 10 3D Street Artists in the World’ by WebUrbanist. I am deeply honored and appreciative that others find my work interesting or note-worthy - thanks Kurt! Check out my latest creation ‘Escape of the Mummy’ on YouTube:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=6r2joM0dntQ
This painting was created at the 2008 Youth in Arts Italian Street Painting Festival in San Rafael, California. My inspiration were the Indiana Jones and The Mummy films. If you look at the painting you will see the shadow of the Indiana Jones type explorer peaking around the corner of the back Egyptian chamber, while the Mummy is crawling out of the painting into our world. It was lots of fun to make and the crowd loved it!
You can see this and other videos of my work on the ‘demo’ or ‘video’ page of my website.

Greetings from Louisville, Kentucky - the home of the ‘Hot Brown’ (no Chicago, this is it’s true home!), Woodford Reserve bourbon and of course, horse racings’ crown jewel, the Kentucky Derby. I traveled to Louisville to create a 3d anamorphic street painting for the Champions 4 Her Festival, sponsored by a Who’s Who of Louisville’s finest (more…)

Unfortunately my Arabian Adventures have come to an end…..for now! The last few weeks have been truly amazing and profoundly affecting on me. I entered the UAE over a month ago with little more than a notion of what it was all about - and now feel as though I have had an amazing education as to the richness in (more…)
