3D Lynx Attract hits the UK streets

Check out my latest: Just created -  a 3d street chalk image for LYNX ‘Attraction Chaos’ in the UK. Aiming to ‘unleash the chaos’, this painting showed up on the streets of Birmingham. Locals at Victoria Square are having a blast interacting with the chaotic image and getting their pics clicked!

Check out this quick stop motion of the process:

‘Attraction frenzy has started to seep into the UK consciousness as rumours surrounding a new Lynx fragrance have been spreading like wildfire. Speculation has been rife that Lynx, the brand famed for giving guys the edge in the mating game, is set to bring chaoes to the UK by giving the Lynx effect to women as well. Lynx can reveal that for the first time in history it’s latest fragrance – Lynx Attract – will be available both ‘For Him’ and ‘For Her!’

Incredible ’3D Street Art’ India!

3d street art makes a heartfelt mark on india :-P

Incredible! Truly the perfect adjective that springs to mind when summing up the latest art adventure I’ve recently had the good fortune to experience. From across oceans, deserts and mountains, and into the kaleidoscopic sanctum of my mind / heart – India and its people do not disappoint.

Invited back by the US Consulate of India to appear on a second edition of my 2009 3D Street Painting Tour, I was honored to conduct workshops and create exhibition pieces at amazing venues around the country: the renowned Jaipur Literary Festival (where I missed Oprah by days!); the renowned Kolkata Book Fair & Nandan Arts Center, Kolkata; Vellore Institute of Technology’s Riviera more…

3D on the Russian Riviera

As part of the 2011 International Investment Forum, I was invited to the beautiful coastal city of Sochi, Russia, on the Black Sea, to create one of my 3D street painting images. Sochi is a lot like Santa Barbara or the Amalfi Coast in Italy – a gorgeous location with lots to do in the sun and sea. If you’re looking for a great vacation get away, this is it. The Sochi Park organization, who is currently constructing a new amusement park which will be opening in conjunction with the 2014 Olympic Games to be held in Sochi, asked for an image that showcased their new rides, the scenery of this lovely city and some of the folk tale characters that are near and dear to the Russian populations’ hearts.  The image proved to be very popular with the public and local Russian TV had a field day with it. My clients were thrilled with the result, which was the best compliment for me. I suspect we’ll be seeing more 3D street art appearing more…

3d Street Painting recognized at the 2011 Society of Unique Artists Awards

It’s my honor and privilege to announce that I’ve been awarded the Extreme Art Award in the Painting category of the First Annual 2011 Society of Unique Artist’s Awards! Featuring the most extreme and unique art forms of the year, the event was created to advance SUA’s non-profit mission of promoting unique art forms, in hopes of filling a void in the larger art world.

The event was held on July 16, 2011, at the Jerome L. Greene Space in Manhattan. Live television taping for SUA’s Extreme Art tv covered the festivities, which included a cocktail hour with musical entertainment by the East River Jazz Band, outrageous mind reading and magic from Middle To Nowhere, ventriloquist April Brucker, and magician extraordinaire, Apollo Riego. SUA’s own Danielle Guldin hosted and kept the night going strong with humor and energy.

I was thrilled to meet everyone at SUA as well as fellow nominees who attended. So many amazing artists representing the best in ice sculpture, sand art, food sculpture, performing arts, solo performers, painting and unusual unique arts. Congrats go to all the winners & thanks go to Ronnie, Jacqueline and everyone at SUA for supporting our unique artistic efforts!

The Colors of Willemstad is a relatively new event, celebrating it’s 2nd anniversary in 2011. I was invited to attend and create one of my signature 3d interactive images to wow the folks of Curacao. My team and I arrived on a Monday and began work on Wednesday. We enjoyed a great day at the beach on Tuesday, soaking up some of the wonderful Caribbean sun and enjoying the warm tropical waters. A great way to get into street painting mode! more…

3d Chalk Heats Up!

3d chalk art melts before your eyes! Freshly back from lovely south Florida where I just participated in the 17th Annual Lake Worth Street Painting Festival. I’ve been supporting this event for years in response to former festival director Maryanne Webber’s gracious support of my work. With the primary objective of raising funding for scholastic grants to support local aspiring young artists, this non-profit event attracts upwards of 100,000 visitors each year and they certainly know how to put on a quality show! more…
