3D Lynx Attract hits the UK streets
Check out my latest: Just created - a 3d street chalk image for LYNX ‘Attraction Chaos’ in the UK. Aiming to ‘unleash the chaos’, this painting showed up on the streets of Birmingham. Locals at Victoria Square are having a blast interacting with the chaotic image and getting their pics clicked!
Check out this quick stop motion of the process:
‘Attraction frenzy has started to seep into the UK consciousness as rumours surrounding a new Lynx fragrance have been spreading like wildfire. Speculation has been rife that Lynx, the brand famed for giving guys the edge in the mating game, is set to bring chaoes to the UK by giving the Lynx effect to women as well. Lynx can reveal that for the first time in history it’s latest fragrance – Lynx Attract – will be available both ‘For Him’ and ‘For Her!’

If you get to a Westfield Mall this holiday season, you’ll have a good chance of being a part of the art! I’m excited and pleased to announce my participation in Westfield‘s new ‘Loliday’ promotional campaign, which can be seen at their mall properties nationwide. 3D on the Russian Riviera
As part of the 2011 International Investment Forum, I was invited to the beautiful coastal city of Sochi, Russia, on the Black Sea, to create one of my 3D street painting images. Sochi is a lot like Santa Barbara or the Amalfi Coast in Italy – a gorgeous location with lots to do in the sun and sea. If you’re looking for a great vacation get away, this is it. The Sochi Park organization, who is currently constructing a new amusement park which will be opening in conjunction with the 2014 Olympic Games to be held in Sochi, asked for an image that showcased their new rides, the scenery of this lovely city and some of the folk tale characters that are near and dear to the Russian populations’ hearts. The image proved to be very popular with the public and local Russian TV had a field day with it. My clients were thrilled with the result, which was the best compliment for me. I suspect we’ll be seeing more 3D street art appearing (more…)
3d Street Painting – Spain
Ole! Just arrived home from beautiful Pamplona, Spain where I was commissioned to create a holiday marketing street painting for a national bank, specifically their bank card services. Our site was situated adjacent to the famous Plaza de Torros, where the Running of the Bulls takes place annually. Pamplona is a beautiful city that sits atop a hill over looking the valleys below. Charming cafes, churches, shops and bar/restaurants keep the city pulsing with life and activity. (more…)
3D Sidewalk Chalk Art at VM World 2010 Expo
Just returned from glorious San Francisco where I created a series of two 3d chalk art paintings for CA Technologies at the VM World 2010 Expo. The show was held at the Moscone Center, notorious for it’s challenging working surfaces to we street painters, but with a little extra preparation, I was able to tame that surface with very successful results. Assisted by my friend and associate, Charlene, we were able to create one 10′ x 10′ painting per day, working approximately 7 hours on each painting. CA Technologies loved the images, as did all the show participants who had a chance to see them. It was a lot of fun for us, and gave me a chance to catch up with some good friends who live in the Bay Area!

To open the house we celebrated with full ceremonies yesterday, including everyone from Home Square, our PR agency, our booking agency, tons of media from all over HK, and various invited guests. Dim Sum in Sha Tin!
Wrapping up a 10 day street painting event in glorious Hong Kong where I was commissioned to create 4 interactive chalk art images on a series of multiple surfaces – walls and floors in a variety of combinations. The uber cool thing was that I discovered a way to make the creations permanent, as in usable for 2+ months! Not giving away any secrets, I think this is the start of an entirely new way of working for me. More updates and photos coming soon!
3D at E3 Expo 2010
What a trip! Had the recent opportunity to create a double dose of 3d chalk paintings at the fantastic E3 Expo in downtown Los Angeles. The event was held over 3 days, with thousands of attendees from all over the world, checking out the latest in gaming entertainment. I was commissioned to create 2 interactive chalk paintings for Ubisoft’s new Shaun White Skateboarding game for PlayStation 3. We had a blast rubbing elbows with the (more…)
New video posted on YouTube
Some of the best of my 3d chalk paintings over the past 2 years, this video highlights images created around the world for street painting festivals, event promotions, fundraising events, educational projects and tv segments. Most were created with chalk on pavement, but several were permanent installations using both paint and chalk – a new direction for me that I’m hoping to explore to the fullest. Additionally, 2010 proved to be a very active year for me, as I was able to complete 35 paintings throughout the course of the year – a personal record – of various sizes and subject matter. I hope you enjoy the paintings – stay tuned for more!
3D Street Painting – Seoul, Korea
‘Annyeong haseyo!’ (‘Hello’ in Korean) I was recently commissioned to create a large 3d street painting for the renowned Shinsegae Department Store in Seoul, South Korea. I had never traveled to Korea and was very excited about the opportunity to go there and share my work with the citizens of Seoul.
